I’ve written a lot of regular slice of life stories, but now I’m dipping my toes into the world of fantasy~
So I’ve written a series of stories about a group of people who die and come back in the next life as heroes, who possess magical energy that can change forms and become weapons.
The main story focuses on the metal family of heroes (Bronze, Silver and Gold). Their metal has nothing to do with their rank, it shines through their hair colour and energy. The bronze hero could outshine the gold if they wanted to.
Not all of the heroes come from under the veil, some are born there, and that’s where the side-stories come in. The heroes born under the veil are the Gemstone family (Amethyst, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, ect). These stories focus more on the romance side of things and some get a little.. zesty. I hope you like angels, demons and reapers 🤭
All of these stories intertwine and everyone meets up for the final story.
There is no real order to these stories, some scenarios appear multiple times, but from different perspectives and, as I mentioned, characters pop in and out all the time from both the main and side story characters. Honestly, it has been a very fun project 😁
Metal Family (Main story)
Bronze: Fenley (Fen)
Imagine being late to your destiny.. Fen is a very reluctant hero. He arrives after a fire burns down his farm, only, he is 3 years late to the party. All the other heroes have already adapted to their new lives while Fen is busy being freaked out by his new reality.
Silver: Shio
Shio took to her new life like a duck to water. She is a very quick learner and is the first to take on the task of hunting down other heroes. She’s also very good at hunting down bakeries for a savoury treat~
Gold: Leif
Leif hated his old life, so he was more than happy to have a new start. Shame he doesn’t have a new attitude. Leif learned how to control his energy extremely quickly and decided he wanted to use it to destroy demons. Only, one of those demons takes a liking to him.
Gemstone Family (side-stories)
Amethyst: Cin
Cin is a very down-on-his-luck demon. He decided to help his friend (and honorary big sister), Xyla, open a cafe, to earn some money. No one really knows of its existence, so they rely on random travellers finding them. And one day, Iliya, a light energy user comes by and ends up helping Cin and Xyla out with the cafe. Cin doesn’t usually like energy-wielding humans, but Iliya feels different, somehow.
Leksy wants to start his official adult life and move out of his parents house. He moves into a lovely new village and everything is going great- until, one day.. a demon group named Dark Typhoon appears and destroys his new home. Leksy is devastated and vows to take Typhoon down, only.. one of the members has become rather infatuated with him and, our hero, Leksy.. might just be catching feelings for this villain.
Ruby: Kyla
Kyla can infuse her energy into objects, such as her precious magical card deck, turning anything into a powerful weapon. She has a very witchy vibe about her, which attracted a silent stalker to her. After a few nights, the stalker finally comes out of the shadows. Kyla instantly falls for her beauty, but.. she can’t let her know that!
