I know I mentioned that, after everything that has happened, I wasn’t going to post a Halloween illustration this year, but.. I ended up scribbling a new version of an older illustration.

Of course, it’s Pip and Taka!!! 😁

I really haven’t given them much love this year and they’re the reason I even have this website right now. I love these two so much and working on this has given me the itch to draw more of them X)

I also wanted to draw something for Maxi’s birthday this year(who is a Halloween baby), but that didn’t happen.. so here’s the (very quick) scribble from last year, for anyone who missed it 😊

The circus shenanigans will return soon! My break ends on Monday, so new comic pages should be posted in a couple of weeks.

And finally.. we have a writing update!!
I’ve fixed up more of the scripts and more illustrations have been added! 😁

I’m really enjoying this way of storytelling, even more now that I get to draw little illustrations to accompany the scripts (even if using the blending brush tool gives many inconsistencies 😂) ❤

Happy to say that the fantasy series has been fixed up! Everything is now colour-coded and I’ve brushed up the dialogue a bit.

I’ve started adding more images too 😁

They aren’t the final illustrations, I want to fix up the line art and add backgrounds, but they’ll do as some visual aid for now 😊

I’ll have a few to post for Cin’s story, too!!

Now that the first 2 chapters of both stories have been uploaded, my main focus for the rest of the week is to get these illustrations done. Much like the Leksy and Flare scene above, they will probably be scribbly at first, but I’ll tidy them up once I’ve finished a batch.

Obviously, if I receive any feedback which notifies me of any mistakes that need tidying up in the stories, It’ll get right on it, but I’m honestly excited to spend the next few days just drawing these newer characters. I’ve gotten into the groove of drawing Cin and Flare, but I definitely need a bit more practice with Iliya and Leksy.

Speaking of drawing though!
Next week, I’m going back to comic work, so I’ll be drawing circus pages again!
I’m really missing the circus crew, their story is so far from even really beginning.

I can’t believe we’ve reached the final full week of October already… this year is flying by! 😱

I’ll be completely honest, the plan for this month was to upload a paranormal girls’ love story that I started writing a little over decade ago. I wanted to upload a part every few days and finish around Halloween, but.. life had other plans and that didn’t happen.

Even though I’ve poured so much passion into it, it’s hard to want to share a story that’s focused around death when you’ve very recently lost a loved one.

I lost my precious bunny near the beginning of the month and life has been a rollercoaster of emotions ever since. He was the sweetest boy and I miss him so much 😢❤️
Not that I’m blaming him directly for shifting my plans, I would never- that’s on me and my current mindset. But things have worked out, because I chose to upload the fantasy series side-stories instead!

One of the only things keeping me going is writing and uploading the side-stories. I’m so happy that people have been enjoying these stories and characters, they really have been a much-needed distraction from life.

Which brings us to an update!!

I’ve updated (and completed!) chapter 2 of both Cin’s and Leksy’s stories, so you can enjoy even more of their antics 😊❤️
I’ve separated narration from dialogue, but I haven’t bolded out character names or colour-coded them yet.

Leksy’s story has another *kind of* spicy scene in it, which leads to.. unfortunate, painful consequences for Flare. And the real Cin is slowly coming out in his story, as he gets closer to Iliya.

I’ll be fixing these up during the week and parking on illustrations 😁
