And now.. some news..💦

The new comic page is coming along well, but it has been a challenge 😂 I’ve been drawing and re-drawing panels so much, it has really been stressing me out.. BUT!!! I’m aiming for a mid-week upload, so either some time Wednesday or early Thursday morning. Regardless of how it looks, I really just want to post and continue the story.. so I can then have a fresh start with a new page!😂

To make up for another delayed page, here’s a Felix x Denny scribble.

I do have comic news to post, but I seriously need to address something first.

The events of the last few days really have been a disgusting reminder that racism is still very strong in 2020. I know that, at least in my lifetime, it won’t be stomped out and we’ll never live in a world full of acceptance, especially while racism is still being preached like it’s a normal thing- which isn’t right at all. No one deserves to be hated and definitely not murdered for the colour of their skin.

The footage of the riots that have followed.. I mean.. It doesn’t seem real, like something from a movie, but it really is happening right now. This is the result that all the hate crimes from over the years have lead up to, people are rioting to be heard and it has ended with so much destruction.. though I don’t agree with the rioting, it’s very easy to see why it has happened.

I have friends of all colours and I love them all dearly. I just can’t look at someone and see a skin colour, I see living, breathing person. I was bullied a lot at school for being different and the effects have been with me all through my adult life and have lead to multiple mental illness. Racism is a form of bullying and I can’t sit back and watch people go through the same thing, especially when it ends in the worst possible way.

So I’ll end by saying- Black lives matter, they always have done and they always will do. Stay strong, we’ll always support you💖

As for comic news, I’ll try my hardest to post the new page tonight!

The poses in this one have been so tricky to draw, especially digitally! But I’ve been trying my hardest to not stress out about it and just do my best💪✨

I also need to get back tidying up older pages. I stopped because, you know the page that I posted a newly-laid-line-art preview of? I haven’t been able to find the file ANYWHERE, like it has completely disappeared.. I was upset for so long, I don’t have the time to draw it all again, it took so many hours! But without it, I can’t continue to post print-ready pages, so I’ll have to just take a deep breath and get back on with it. I’ll try and do it some time this coming week😊💦

And in relation to the first part of this post- 2 new female characters are coming to the comic in the next chapter and right now, more than ever, they feel really important. They are so much fun to write for, I love them and I hope you will too!
